Cassandra, thank you for sharing this story of your life. It is difficult to let go of a life that so much embodies who you are. Although it certainly is a blessing that you have a husband and a child, I totally understand how that is also a barrier to a life that makes you feel alive.

I left the States in 2004 and am now living in Portugal. The magical shores and their little villages, the mountains with their irresistible beauty, and the abundant supply of picturesque cafés, is amazingly rewarding. And I am so happy I live here.

But I did get married and now I also have a daughter. And we’ll life did change. And so much of what made life colorful was put on stand by. And like you, I’m waiting.

I hope that you get to return to Europe. Maybe you could even visit us here in northern Portugal.

Anyway, many blessing to you and your family.
