You think that way because you actually know what Critical Theory is. When some Christians see it used against the Bible, they get critical about it. But in essence, critical theory is the result of development in textual analysis, and it can be helpful, even to Christians.

I am a Christian and I’m even a Christian that fully believes in the errancy of the Scriptures. And seems to me that what is needed is people like you, David, to work with the tools and the texts.
